Ozark Campground to Pruitt Landing Trail
Length: 2.6 miles, 1-2 hours
Difficulty: Easy to Moderate
Description: A beautiful trail that follows the river and passes scenic overlooks and historic sites. Picnic areas are located at both Pruitt Landing and Ozark Campground. There are lots of wildflowers and the Buffalo River Trail passes a spring fed pond along the route.
Directions: Travel Highway 7 South from Harrison for 12 miles to the Pruitt Ranger Station and access point. The access point is located below and to the south side of the Pruitt historic bridge. Park on the right side of the bridge at the picnic area and the trail starts on the west side of the picnic tables along the river.
